Hufton Studio

Hi, I’m Fleur Crawford the creator & Artist behind Hufton Studio. I specialize in bespoke illustration, textiles and surface pattern design and am based in Auckland, New Zealand.I launched my career in Childrenswear Design moving into Womenswear and then Textile Product Development & Design working for some of New Zealand’s leading brands in commercial and high fashion. After a long career in the fashion industry I had my first baby & started drawing again to enable me to have a creative and calming outlet amongst the chaos. This quickly led to me enjoying it so much that I created Hufton Studio & now after baby number two it has grown into more than I could have ever imagined & I love being able to work from home & create everyday with my kids by my side.My work has a calming relaxed feel to it by using soft whimsical pastels and warm earthy tones. I bring a hand-drawn, painted feel and I love the combination of soft textures and details whilst also adding a feminine approach to my designs. I find inspiration from the wonderful world around me & you can find me on my walks taking photos of flowers, leaves & textures as inspiration for my next creations.
