Custom Fabric FAQs
We use a Kornit Digital Pigment Printer – a state-of-the-art printer with patented technology that eliminates all water waste and the need to pretreat fabric. This process is fully organic with all inks and and binders used being certified organic. Digital pigment printing with Kornit’s revolutionary technology offers true-color, crisp prints with incredible rub and wear durability. We accept high-resolution PNG, TIFF, JPG, EPS, and PDF files. For best results, upload at 300 dpi at your intended print size and in RGB color format. Our minimum requirement is 150 dpi and our upload tool will flag any resolution issues before you order.
We pride ourselves in offering industry leading order turnaround on custom fabric printing. Most orders ship in 2-4 business days. Wholesale orders are also typically 3–5 days. We’ll notify you by email when your order ships.
We pride ourselves on true-to-color results. Our Kornit digital pigment printer with organic inks produces consistent, vibrant prints. However, we strongly recommend ordering a sample print before a large run if exact color match is critical. We offer 8×8 sample squares with no minimum.
Pricing varies by fabric base, typically ranging from more budget-friendly cotton options to premium linens and specialty weaves, with most fabrics falling in the $20–$45 per yard range. A few factors determine any given fabrics price:
- Fabric type. Lightweight cottons and basic knits sit at the lower end. Specialty wovens like French linen, heavier weight fabrics, and organic-certified bases cost more due to material sourcing and milling. We pride ourselves in carrying high end, natural fiber (non-synthetic) fabrics that are sustainable and durable.
- Order quantity. Orders of 50+ total yards receive an automatic 10% discount. Wholesale orders (50+ yards per fabric type) unlock further volume pricing.
- No color or design fees. Printing cost is built into the per-yard fabric price. There’s no separate design fee or per-color charge. A simple one-color pattern and a complex photographic print cost the same per yard on the same fabric. With wholesale pricing there is a small savings if you provide your own designs rather than ordering a design from our arist collections

We offer special wholesale options and pricing to serve our wholesale and trade program customer. Our wholesale program has a 50 yard per fabric minimum. Please contact us here for more wholesale information.
