Hello, I’m Julie, Artist, and Surface Pattern Designer behind Julie Storie Designs.I started pattern designing after my twins were born. I began sewing baby clothes and became fascinated by the beautiful patterns and the Artists behind them. With having experience in Graphic Design and already a self-taught Artist, I decided to create my very first seamless pattern. I fell in love with it and decided I wanted to share my patterns with other small businesses to use on their products. I love getting to see my patterns on products all over the world, from children’s clothing, pet accessories, poly mailers, and more. It brings me happiness knowing I was able to help a small business create a beautiful product for their shop, and have success with it. I have a love for florals, bright colours, watercolour, and fun illustrations, which I like to incorporate into my designed collections. As well as being a full-time designer, I am a mother to identical twin boys, a wife to a wonderful husband, and live in a lovely small town in Ontario, Canada. I love being outdoors, gardening, golfing, camping, and going on adventures with my boys. I am always looking forward to creating new patterns to share with everyone for the seasons ahead!
