VK Studios

Hi! I’m Andi Whalen, the self-taught designer behind VK Studios, a sister company to my independent wallpaper and textile line, Virginia Kraft Textiles. I began selling my designs under a different label in 2008 with Spoonflower. I progressed to my interior-focused line in 2013, and now, wanting to offer more accessibility in the interiors industry, have started VK Studio. My style is eclectic and heavily influenced by places I long to visit, as well as old movies, and vintage design. Through my work I hope to share the warmth and joy of my grandmother – Virginia Kraft, for whom my business is named. I have a wonderful husband, two inspiring young-adult children, and two sweet pups. I’ve lived in central Ohio my entire life, and while the summers are gorgeous, the winters are long. I’m excited to move to warmer climates soon and see how that influences my work!
